Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan isn't a trial — it's a permanent tier. We want every pet to have a proper health record, regardless of budget. We make our business from Plus and Family subscribers.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any moment. If you cancel a paid plan, your data is safe and you drop back to Free — nothing is deleted.
What happens to my pet's data if I cancel?
Your pet's records, history, and profile remain accessible on the Free tier. We don't delete your data. It's yours.
Does my vet have to be on Gpets for it to work?
No. You can manually log all records yourself — the app works fully without a connected clinic. Vet linking is a bonus that makes the experience richer, not a requirement.
Can I share my pet's profile with my partner?
On the Family plan, yes — you can add multiple carers with their own access. On Free and Plus, you can share individual care cards and pet ID cards, but profile editing is single-account.
Do you support animals other than dogs and cats?
Yes. Gpets works for rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, reptiles, horses, and any pet you love. Breed-specific health insights are currently strongest for dogs and cats, with more species being added.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Gpets uses end-to-end encryption for all health data, follows Australian Privacy Act requirements, and never sells your data to third parties. Your pet's information is yours.
